Zeugens and rock pedestals are landforms that can be found in desert areas. Zeugens are formed by wind erosion and are characterized by a ridge and furrow landscape. Rock pedestals are also formed by wind erosion, where a rock formation is reduced to a column because the lower parts have been more heavily eroded than the upper parts.
