=\;\frac{\;\text{ Number }\;}{\;\text{ Total }\;}\times 100\%

=400

litres -100 litres

=300

Percentage Left

=\;\frac{300}{400}\times 100\%=3\times 25\%=75\%

Note: The two zeros (00) in 300 and 400 cancels each other and 4 divides itself, once and 100, 25 times.
